Module 2 > Adding a Second Domain Controller
I’m in the lab section of this lesson. I’m starting “Transferring FSMO” and I need to look up mmc in the windows search to bring out management console. When I typed mmc in the search, nothing comes up. I’ve tried typing; mmc, management, manage, console. Nothing is coming up for the Console. Can someone help me?
Also how do you reset the lab in courses lecture to start over?
I found the solution! So when I tried to search it on the Taskbar search, nothing came up. I went into the windows file explorer and searched the c: it came up.
Nice job and thank you for documenting this! Also - sometimes you can type a period after mmc like:
mmc.
And this will show MMC in the search bar.

Also, I have used the following key combinations:
press [ Windows Key] + [R] and enter MMC . and then OK
That will pop up the MMC Console.

I do believe one can also run it straight as mmc without the exe as admin.
