Lab: Installing Windows Server Roles and Features on Desktop Experience
I can not login to the server. When I select ctrl, alt, delete, it kicks me out of the virtual machine. I’ve tried multiple times with no positive results.
click the resources tab and there should be a button with ctrl, alt, delete for you to click

You are clicking the ctrl+alt+del button, not pressing the buttons on your host computer’s keyboard, right?
First go to the Resources tab to view the VMs in your IT lab. Then click Ctrl+Alt+Delete:
This is standard behavior for virtualized and remote desktop environments. You have to simulate the key sequence otherwise the host will accept the sequence.
