Certification - that can be attempted

Hello - With the Windows Server 2016 Admin course, what are the certification options that I can attempt and pass them succesfully.

Hi there!

For Windows Server 2016 course, you can confidently take MCSA: Windows Server 2016. This certification focuses on installation, storage as well management for networking and identity. Although there lot of certifications that relates to Windows Server Administration, and this is just one of those.

Thank you.

Are they still allowing people to take the MCSA: Windows Server 2016? I thought they retired that certification at the end of 2020? If it is retired, what would be a good substitute?

Hello!

Thanks for clarifying that. I completely missed that part. Yes, MCSA: Windows Server 2016 was retired last January 31, 2021. Instead Microsoft is recommending the following relative exams:

  1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  3. Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
