Coinfiguring a Traffic Management Policy based upon location

Hello Instructor Robert,
I have created a lab to complete DNS course as you advise as to master DNS.
But regarding this chapter as mentioned in the object, I created two location with the following subnet 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.2.10
But my VM network is 192.168.1.0/24
Question: How can the DNS server could redirect to 192.168.2.10 as it is not the same subnet?
Bellow my screenshot
CTMP based upon location
Thank for a tip!

Hello Andre,
You are correct, you would need a second subnet with a .2 network. If you had a hardware router that you could configure a .1 and a .2 network that could be easily accomplished. The main reason for this lecture is informational in that the important thing to understand is that you have the ability through a DNS traffic management policy to route your DNS queries based upon the IP address and intelligently route your traffic to the resources that best serve your organizational infrastructure.
Thanks,
Robert
