Paul/Robert,
In the lecture we are going to the registry for install/uninstall and version numbers. Has the software been installed on the SCCM computer before creation? isn’t this a little risky to do on a server? Would it make more sense to install on a test computer and copy the information over after you have verified the software integrity?
I may be over thinking it, but it makes more sense to me.
Thank you,
Bill J.
Hello William
Sure you can do that. The software install on the server is just for demonstration purposes. True, you would not install questionable software on the server. The demo software in the lectures has been around for years, so in this case it’s not an issue.
Thanks,
Robert

Thank you Robert,
Makes sense now… Like I said I was probably over thinking it.

No that’s good thinking, you’re being aware. Security in a production environment is important.
