Module 2: Creating User accounts with Active Directory

Hi,

I do not have the budget for the labs so I created my own in VirtualBox. I am having trouble joining the Windows 11 Pro device to the ad domain I created to test the user account I created following the steps in the 8 minute video “Creating User accounts with Active Directory” has anyone tried to join a Windows 11 Machine to Server 2016? If so, How did you get this part to work?

Hi @jayrdesign2015

It might be a DNS issue on Windows 11. Can you check if the DNS IP address is the AD? Also, make sure the AD IP is set to non-DHCP.
