I have created a user collection based on a direct rule with 9 users (based off video “Collections Overview and the Direct Rule”
Member Count and Members Visible both show as 0 after several refreshes, restarting configuration manager console and reboot.
In the collection summary, update time shows as 1/1/1980 12:00AM
Try this:
Open the SCCM Console
Go to Administration / Hierarchy Configuration / Discovery Methods
Right-Click Active Directory Group Discovery and select Properties
On the General tab, you can enable the method by checking Enable Active Directory Group Discovery
Follow this procedure for each discovery method that applies. (probably all of them)
I have enabled and ran all the discovery options and that seems to work.
Try that let me know if it worked.
Thank you Robert. I had a pending software update to from Configuration Manager from 1903 or 2010. I believe the update prevented discovery for collections. Now that the update has finalized, the collections are populated.
