RSOP only shows settings that are being applied, and even then it wont show all of them in the exact same format. Take firewall rules for example.

Good day,

We are doing a follow up on this request, had you been able to get going?

Kind Regards

Hi jcurt11n,

The reason why is not showing it is that the policy is not set. When the RSOP is executed the PowerShell folder is not shown.

To make the PowerShell folder appear in RSOP enable in Server Manager > Group Policy > right click Default Domain Policy > Edit > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows PowerShell > Turn On Script Execution > Disable. In the User Configuration the setting is Enabled.

Update with gpupdate /force and check again.

When I go to group policy and click admin templates I only get All Settings not windows component. Any ideas?

Hi @quentin.collier

If opening the Group Policy Management Editor from the Tools menu you will see all the possible configurable options. Windows Component should be under Administrative Templates.

If opening the rsop.msc console, it will display only the configured policies and folders where the policies are so some folders might not be shown.

Ricardo

Thank you but Windows Components is not listed under Admin Templates only listed is (All Settings) in GPMEditor
