I just installed Server 2016 in VBox and got to the desktop but there was no place to sign in even after I set the Admin password.

You just need to send the ctrl+alt+del to the VM then you can type the password.
I’m having the same issue, but when I do ctrl, alt, delete it takes me to the host and doesn’t open the log in section for the VM.
In VirtualBox you can send the commands in a similar way as in the labs.
