Using Security Groups with GPO's

I created an OU, Security Group, and a GPO for installing printers. I assigned the GPO to the OU, placed the Security Group in the OU but the GPO won’t apply to a Security Group.

in checking online, GPO’s can only be used to manage Users or Computers but not Groups. Is that correct?

Yes, you’re right. Even if a group is placed in an OU, it won’t process or receive GPO settings.
