I’m unable to install the prereq files for SCCM and am seeing the attached error message. Can you please assist? I’ve tried changing my firewall settings for the host and virtual machines…I’m not sure where to find any log files, prior to install.

There was a similar issue to yours on the following thread that might be worth checking.
Installing Configuration Manager: Prerequisite Files
The solution, in that case, was to install SCCM 2103. If that does not solve your issue let us know the details of the version you are installing.

I also have same problem as other people hit before. I would like to install SCCM 2016 instead of SCMM 2013. Would you share SCCM prerequisite files for us to download ?

Would I know there is a way to get SCCM 2016 prerequisite files instead of using SCCM 2013 ? It is because I would like to follow the SCCM 2016 course. Thanks !

The problem I have seen is that some of the files are no longer available online to download. I have tried it and it popups an error.
If you have access to the IT Labs you can follow the course with the labs since the virtual machines contain the files previously downloaded.
